Valentina’s practice focuses on the defense of school districts and municipalities. Prior to joining Silverman & Associates, Valentina worked as an Associate at a boutique litigation firm where she represented clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters. Prior to that, Valentina was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted criminal cases from inception to trial, including conducting Grand Jury presentations, jury trials, hearings, and investigations.
Valentina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pace University. Valentina received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. During law school, Valentina was the Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and participated in a number of internships including the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
